Yurts at Poncha Pass

    The location is secluded to feel like we have our own yurt village, while being within a 30 minute drive of Salida, CO. We will be at approx. 9,010 ft elevation.

  • Each yurt welcomes 3 guests. There is a queen bed, a queen sized futon and a queen mattress in the loft space. The yurt is equipped with a full kitchen, full bathroom, filtered water, and communal space.

    The property offers a wood barrel sauna, outdoor cold tub, community fire pit, hiking trails and a starry sky free of light pollution.

  • The rental fees we pay to The Yurts at Poncha Pass support sustainable education programs in the spring/fall and subsidize affordable winter housing for young adults. The property hosts workshops, serves as a demonstration site for regenerative living and is in the process of building an on-site earthship.
